September, 1999 at Disneyworld... Most notable about this trip was the fact that Hurricane Floyd, Tropical Storm Harvey, and I, all decided to visit Disneyworld at the same time.
Sitting in front of my "travel" laptop on this frigid NYC day in January, 2000, I noticed a desktop icon entitled Floyd.txt. This file contained notes that I had jotted down about my decision to remain at Disneyworld rather than cut my vacation short and return home - and the preparations for the storm, etc. I edited and reformatted these notes into a web page (see below), including some photos taken just prior to what I call Hurricane Floyd Night.
